Maximum Firepower

I recently treated myself to the General Veers Commander expansion for Star Wars Legion. It's expensive, but as Maximillian Veers is my favourite character from the Star Wars films, I couldn't really go without one.

It is a nicely sculpted figure and was dead easy to paint, just various shades of grey really. The uniform was base painted with Vallejo's German Field Grey, washed with Army Painter's Strong Tone and then drybrushed with Vallejo's Neutral Grey. The metal armour and helmet were painted in a Vallejo's German Grey, with a similar wash and drybrush as before. It was then simply a case of adding the detail, like his rank badge and the flesh.

A very simple figure to complete and a great addition to the Imperial Forces for Legion!

Thanks for reading!

    1. As I said, he gets things done, leads the succesful assault on Hoth and has the balls to tell Vader when he can start his landings.

  2. Now all you need is an AT-AT for him to sit in!

    1. Given the price of the AT-ST, I'd need a pretty hefty bank loan for an AT-AT...

  3. And having got your AT-AT, all it takes is Wedge in a Snowspeeder...
